FAQ

What is refinishing or reglazing?

Refinishing coating is the process of restoring the surface of a worn, damaged bathtub to a like-new condition. Without any tear out or replacement, some of the finish that can be refinishing are porcelain and fiberglass bathtubs and sinks, Formica, Kitchen cabinets, Shower pan and many others.

How long will the refinishing process take?

Generally speaking, tub glaze may take 3-4 hours. Tub and tile surround (tiles around tub and tub) will take 4-6 hours. This process does not include any time to remove any old paint from a previous refinish if present.

How long will it last?

Our company only uses the best quality products available; EP-Acrylic should easily last 10 to 15 years or longer with proper care and maintenance. Like anything else, you get what you pay for each job. If you are looking for the lowest price, more than likely the finish you get won’t last this long. Your 3 Year warranty affords you more than ample protection against this unlikely possibility.

Are there any fumes From the Process?

All odors are exhausted through the window. These odors and overspray are absorbed with the exhaust fan that sends everything out. In the end, you will feel a smell of regular fresh paint, but it disappears in a few hours.

How do I clean and maintain the finish?

Care and maintenance of a refinished item are simple. If you are a client, we will give you a list of cleaners that do not contain bleach or abrasives. Polish it once a year for the best results.

I have a leaky faucet. Do I need to have it fixed before the refinishing?

We highly recommend you will have to fix this as soon as possible before the schedule, for it will damage your newly refinished tub in due time.

Is there a charge for an Estimate or Inspection?

No, call us for a free estimate, and an expert will help you at home.

Can I use a bath-mat?
